In my 2.6m Krill Katana, I´ve used the DS9900 Dymond servo directly at 7.4V. Unfortunately, the elevators began to shimmy despite the strong servo. I exchanged the elevator servos with this 15.8kg servo. And, all I can say is that this was the solution of the problem. It has enough power for a 2.6m Acro-Plane. Fast and centers very good. I can recommend this servo for bigger planes. You don´t have to buy expencive Hitec ones. |

Had to give it a try...
It's a good bit deeper (taller) than a standard size but not too much. The gears are stout and the innards are well laid out with pretty good support. There's very little slop and while there is a bit of over-shoot when the when the servo makes a high speed return to center, it's not bad and the centering is quite good. For the price, it's a great high strength servo! |
Great Servos...
I bought 7 of these servos for my large scale Piper Pawnee...absolutely fantastic - you can't beat the cost/quality ratio. Will buy again for my next big plane! |

HG-9150MG servo...
I am using one of these for rudder in my 50cc YAK54. Unsurpassed value for money. Centers perfectly every time, fast, powerful, so, what more do you want?? Compared to other MUCH more expensive brands (H*tec, H*per*ion, J*, etc) that I have used before, this will certainly be my future servos to use for all applications in my 50cc models.
The HG servos are good quality, so the other brands should take notice that there are "cheaper" brands such as HG, with quality that exceeds theirs. |

I'm using thins servo in a 196cm CMPro extra 330 for the rudder. Now it had much more deflection then with the 10.6kg servo that I used before.
It's quite fast and strong. |
