ND/PL filters combine a light reduction function with polarization to achieve optimal exposure even on bright sunny days. The ND8/PL filter reduces light by 3 stops, ideal for slightly cloudy days. ND16/PL reduces exposure by 4 stops, perfect for sunny weather. ND32/PL and ND64/PL, reducing light by 5 and 6 degrees respectively, are invaluable for very bright scenes, preventing overexposure and preserving image detail.
